A wonderful cabin, an excellent hostess, and amazing food from Rattler - what more could we ask? We were blessed to stay here - indoor & outdoor fireplaces, and a fantastic corral for the horses! Thank you for everything.

Christmas Morning
The wind shrieked last night - the desert is alive. It's so good to be back (from the wet & foggy north). We loved the red barrel cacti that squat like persons in the landscape - the quail nestling in for the night in the palm fronds - the shiny red stove! Thank you, Diane , & Happy New Year!

Thanks for the inspiring, clean and restorative outlet for starting off the new year! The house was so cozy and comfortable....immediately felt at home. Am so excited to have a piece of this place on my wall in Silverlake. Happy New Year!

Wow, what a place you have created here. It has those touches that only an artist would know how to do. Gisele & I loved our time here. From short hikes in the park to meeting artists in their studios. But best of all was spending time here at the Rattler. Moonrises & sunsets, Our favorite memory will be sitting above the cabins & having the quails surround us as they nested in the palms. All in all your little oasis has been a huge find for us. We will share with friends, but for sure, we'll be back to see you.

Thanks for giving us a wonderful weekend. The cabin was homey & inviting. The view bleak and beautiful and your shirts rock. Listening to Hank Williams, searching for shooting stars, and feeling protected and warm while the winds rushed by. We'll spread the word from Echo Park, Ca to Stoke Newington, London.

What a private & secluded oasis this is! We are grateful for the weekend to set somewhere and introspect and extrospect simultaneously. Every view from the windows inside is a moving artpiece. As well as each room a jewel. Lover your paintings and your well-placed decor. Will return soon.

The Mustang bungalow has kept me going through an Alaskan winter. I've been dreaming of it since I found you last March. Sleeping in the desert on the patio is the best, second only to the calm cool colorful interior. Joshua Tree Park is the new treasure in my life and we were out in it every day. May your life be as peaceful and generous as what we experienced.

This was such a great experience! Joshua Tree is beautiful. I am enjoying the silence and stillness of this small town. The Mustang is truly relaxing - the warm fire & Moroccan music soothed my soul. It is so accommodating here - Rattler Ranch is the true meaning of RELAXATION!

It was awesome! Your thoughtfulness in preparing the Mustang for your guests was greatly appreciated. It's the little touches - the tea, a toaster, movies, music, and fantastic decor! This is just what it would look & feel like were I to design a desert getaway. We loved our stay!

We'd been here for about 20 minutes when I started calling the Mustang home, like, Oh. let's just make dinner at home tonight. I'm on the patio now, early morning, being serenaded by the most psychedelic bird sounds and being inspected/ignored by a handsome hummingbird couple. The turtledoves are nesting on top of the AC and coo throughout the day. The desert looks like a neon yellow bouquet, shot through with lilac. What an utterly lovely place - thank you so much for having us.Thanks Diane for having us in your cabin. It was a great part of our desert experience. Your artwork was fantastic as well. The Integratron awaits us, and we hope our experience @ the Integratron is as beautiful as what we encountered here. The view from the deck is wonderful. Brunch out on the deck was perfect for the amazing desert weather. Thanks again.”
